September 24, 2024: New Site, MS 38859 The Walnut Wildcats (Walnut, MS) volleyball knocked off the host New Site Royals (New Site, MS), 3-0 in Tuesday's league bout.
The Wildcats now possess a 21-4 record. They play next when they host Pine Grove for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 28. Walnut will clash with a Panthers team coming off a 3-0 league win over Jumpertown (Booneville, MS). The Panthers record now stands at 17-14.
With the loss, New Site drops to 9-10 on the campaign. The Royals travel to Hamilton (Hamilton, MS) to clash with the Lions in a Class 2A Region 1 bout on Tuesday, October 1. The Lions come into the bout with a record of 10-6.
