September 24, 2025: Woodstock, IL 60098 Woodstock North Thunder (Woodstock, IL) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting Woodstock Blue Streaks (Woodstock, IL), 3-1 in a league test.
With the triumph, Woodstock North moves its record to 9-9 on the campaign. The Thunder travel to Belvidere North (Belvidere, IL) to clash with the Blue Thunder in a non-league test on Thursday, September 25. The Blue Thunder come into the test with a record of 6-4. Belvidere North lost 4-0 in their recent league test against Boylan Catholic (Rockford, IL)
Next up, the Blue Streaks confront the DeKalb Barbs (DeKalb, IL) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, September 27. Woodstock will attempt to improve on its 7-6 season record. The Barbs go into the outing with a 5-7 record after their 3-3 non-league Rockford East (Rockford, IL).
