Serena Huskers (Serena, IL) followers left the game satisfied Wednesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting St. Bede Bruins (Peru, IL), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Serena advances its record to 11-5 on the season. The Huskers host DePue (DePue, IL) to face the Little Giants in a Little Ten test on Tuesday, September 30. The Little Giants go into the test with a record of 0-8.

The Bruins now sport a 12-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lowpoint-Washburn for a Tri-County test on Thursday, September 25. St. Bede will play a Wildcats team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over DeLand-Weldon (DeLand, IL). The Wildcats record now stands at 9-10.
