California High School Football - Rio Hondo Prep overwhelms Linfield Christian

The crowd at Saturday's non-league contest between the Rio Hondo Prep Kares (Arcadia, CA) and the host Linfield Christian Lions (Temecula, CA), observed Rio Hondo Prep's football squad bounce Linfield Christian by a count of 44-9.

The Kares now own a 5-0 record. They play next when they travel to Bosco Tech for a non-league contest on Saturday, October 2. Rio Hondo Prep will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 35-8 non-league loss to Capistrano Valley Christian (San Juan Capistrano, CA). The Tigers record now stands at 2-3.

Coming up next, the Lions encounter the Western Christian Fighting Lancers (Upland, CA) in a Ambassador contest, on Friday, October 1. Linfield Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Fighting Lancers go into the contest with a 5-0 record after their 28-8 non-league win over The Webb Schools (Claremont, CA).
