Colorado High School Football - Smoky Hill thwarts Pomona

The Pomona Panthers football team (Arvada, CO), was knocked off 14-6 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the visiting Smoky Hill Buffaloes (Aurora, CO)

The Buffaloes (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Grandview (Aurora, CO). The Wolves come into the challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Grandview was knocked off by Mountain Vista (Highlands Ranch, CO), 21-0, in a non-league challenge.

The Panthers now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lakewood for a challenge on Saturday, October 2. Pomona will meet a Tigers team coming off a 21-20 non-league win over Palmer Ridge (Monument, CO). The Tigers record now stands at 3-0.
