Colorado High School Soccer - Longmont held off by Thompson Valley
September 25, 2021: Loveland, CO 80537 The crowd at Saturday's non-league test between the Thompson Valley Eagles (Loveland, CO) and the visiting Longmont Trojans (Longmont, CO), saw Thompson Valley's soccer squad get by Longmont by a margin of 3-2.
The Eagles now sport a 5-3 record. They play next when they host Mountain View for a 4A/3A Longs Peak test on Tuesday, September 28. Thompson Valley will meet a Mountain Lions squad coming off a 5-0 league loss to Niwot (Niwot, CO). The Mountain Lions record now stands at 1-6.
With the loss, Longmont drops to 0-8 on the season. The Trojans host Silver Creek (Longmont, CO) to meet the Raptors in a 5A/4A Northern test on Monday, September 27. The Raptors come into the test with a record of 8-0. Silver Creek won 3-2 in their recent league test against Erie (Erie, CO)
