Washington High School Football - Yelm felled by River Ridge
September 25, 2023: Yelm, WA 98597 In Monday's non-league game, the River Ridge Hawks (Lacey, WA) football team were victorious over the host Yelm Tornados (Yelm, WA), by a score of 31-16.
The Hawks (4-0) will now prepare for their game against Peninsula (Gig Harbor, WA). The Seahawks come into the non-league game with a 2-1 record. In their last game, Peninsula knocked off North Thurston (Lacey, WA), 21-0, in a non-league game.
The Tornados now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host North Thurston for a non-league game on Monday, October 2. Yelm will battle a Rams team coming off a 21-0 non-league loss to Peninsula (Gig Harbor, WA). The Rams record now stands at 1-2.
