Virginia High School Volleyball - Liberty over Altavista
September 25, 2023: Bedford, VA 24523 Liberty Minutemen (Bedford, VA) supporters left the game in high spirits Monday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting Altavista Colonels (Altavista, VA), 3-0 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Minutemen battle the Amherst County Lancers (Amherst, VA) in a Seminole match, on Tuesday, September 26. Liberty will attempt to advance on its 4-7 season record. The Lancers come into the match with a 4-6 record after their 3-2 league loss to Jefferson Forest (Forest, VA).
With the loss, Altavista drops to 6-6 on the campaign. The Colonels host Nelson County (Lovingston, VA) to battle the Governors in a Dogwood match on Thursday, September 28. The Governors come into the match with a record of 3-8. Nelson County lost 3-0 in their recent league match against Gretna (Gretna, VA)
