September 25, 2023: Sumter, SC 29150 In Monday's non-league contest, the East Clarendon Wolverines (Turbeville, SC) volleyball squad knocked off the host Lakewood Gators (Sumter, SC), by a margin of 2-0.
Next up, the Wolverines battle the Sumter Gamecocks (Sumter, SC) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, September 27. East Clarendon will attempt to better on its 8-3 season record. The Gamecocks come into the contest with a 9-5 record after their 3-0 league loss to Socastee (Myrtle Beach, SC).
With the loss, Lakewood drops to 1-11 on the campaign. The Gators host Camden (Camden, SC) to battle the Bulldogs in a AAA Region 6 contest on Thursday, September 28. The Bulldogs come into the contest with a record of 17-3. Camden won 3-1 in their recent non-league contest against Lugoff-Elgin (Lugoff, SC)
