The Providence Grove Patriots volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Southeast Guilford Falcons to 1 in the Patriots non-league victory on Monday.

The Patriots now possess a 5-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Uwharrie Charter for a Piedmont Athletic 1A/2A game on Tuesday, September 26. Providence Grove will meet a Eagles team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Richmond (Rockingham, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 12-3.

The Falcons (4-10) will now prepare for their game against Northern Guilford (Greensboro, NC). The Nighthawks enter the Metro 4A game with a 13-1 record. In their last game, Northern Guilford defeated Ragsdale (Jamestown, NC), 3-0, in a league game.
