September 25, 2023: Walnut Grove, AL 35990 The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the West End Patriots (Walnut Grove, AL) and the visiting Southeastern Mustangs (Remlap, AL), saw West End's volleyball squad beat Southeastern by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, West End upgrades its record to 9-8 on the year. The Patriots host Gaston (Gadsden, AL) to play the Bulldogs in a 2A Area 13 bout on Tuesday, September 26. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 3-11. Gaston lost 3-0 in their recent league bout against Sand Rock (Leesburg, AL)
The Mustangs now own a 7-10 record. They play next when they travel to Hayden for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 26.
