Oregon High School Soccer - Cascade toppled by Thurston
September 25, 2024: Turner, OR 97392 Thurston Colts (Springfield, OR) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they witnessed their soccer team beat the host Cascade Cougars (Turner, OR), 4-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Thurston moves its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Colts travel to Lebanon (Lebanon, OR) to clash with the Warriors in a non-league test on Saturday, September 28. The Warriors come into the test with a record of 2-1. Lebanon lost 8-0 in their recent non-league test against Clackamas (Clackamas, OR)
The Cougars now sport a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Stayton for a 4A Oregon West test on Thursday, September 26. Cascade will clash with a Eagles team coming off a 4-2 non-league win over Tillamook (Tillamook, OR). The Eagles record now stands at 1-2.
