September 25, 2024: Stephens City, VA 22655 The crowd at Wednesday's non-league contest between the Sherando Warriors (Stephens City, VA) and the visiting Liberty Eagles (Bealeton, VA), witnessed Sherando's football squad wallop Liberty by a tally of 49-7.
The Warriors (4-0) will now prepare for their contest against Warren County (Front Royal, VA). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Warren County crushed Fauquier (Warrenton, VA), 21-0, in a non-league contest.
Coming up next, the Eagles battle the Brentsville District Tigers (Nokesville, VA) in a non-league contest, on Monday, September 30. Liberty will attempt to better on its 1-3 season record. The Tigers enter the contest with a 2-2 record after their 28-0 non-league win over Meridian (Falls Church, VA).
