In Wednesday's league challenge, the host Ridley Raiders volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Lower Merion Aces.

The Raiders (2-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Oxford (Oxford, PA). The Hornets come into the non-league challenge with a 0-0 record.

Next, the Aces meet the Conestoga Pioneers (Berwyn, PA) in a challenge, on Monday, October 7. Lower Merion will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record.
