Massachusetts High School Soccer - Blackstone Valley RVT nudges Sutton
September 25, 2024: Sutton, MA 01590 Fans at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Blackstone Valley RVT Beavers (Upton, MA) and the host Sutton Sammies (Sutton, MA), saw Blackstone Valley RVT's soccer squad hold off Sutton by a score of 1-0.
The Beavers (8-0) will now prepare for their battle against Advanced Math & Science Academy (Marlborough, MA). The Eagles enter the Colonial battle with a 4-4 record. In their last battle, Advanced Math & Science Academy was edged by North (Worcester, MA), 5-3, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Sammies confront the Douglas Tigers (Douglas, MA) in a Dual Valley battle, on Saturday, September 28. Sutton will attempt to improve on its 7-1 season record. The Tigers enter the battle with a 3-5 record after their 4-0 non-league win over Tahanto Regional (Boylston, MA).
