The Midland Bulldogs football team (Midland, TX), was tipped 43-42 in Thursday's non-league bout with the visiting Inglewood Sentinels (Inglewood, CA)

With the win, Inglewood advances its record to 2-3 on the season. The Sentinels host Leuzinger (Lawndale, CA) to confront the Olympians in a Bay contest on Friday, October 3. The Olympians enter the contest with a record of 3-1. Leuzinger won 59-6 in their recent non-league bout against Hawthorne (Hawthorne, CA)

The Bulldogs now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they host Frenship for a 6A Region I District 2 bout on Friday, October 10. Midland will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 41-13 non-league win over Midland Christian (Midland, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 2-3.
