September 25, 2025: Simi Valley, CA 93065 Freshman Opponent (, ) followers went home pleased Thursday as they saw their football team gain a win over the host Royal Highlanders (Simi Valley, CA), 20-8 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Freshman Opponent advances its record to 4-13 on the season. The host Los Alamitos (Los Alamitos, CA) to play the Griffins in a non-league battle on Friday, September 26. The Griffins go into the battle with a record of 3-2. Los Alamitos lost 20-2 in their recent non-league battle against Granite Hills (El Cajon, CA)
The Highlanders now own a 0-4 record. They play next when they host Oxnard for a battle on Thursday, October 2. Royal will play a Yellowjackets team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Bellflower (Bellflower, CA). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 0-2.
