California High School Football - Monterey Trail smashes Woodcreek
September 25, 2025: Roseville, CA 95747 The Monterey Trail Mustangs (Elk Grove, CA) football bounced the host Woodcreek Timberwolves (Roseville, CA), 44-7 in Thursday's non-league contest.
The Mustangs (4-0) will now prepare for their contest against Vanden (Fairfield, CA). The Vikings enter the non-league contest with a 5-1 record. In their last contest, Vanden crushed Wood (Vacaville, CA), 28-0, in a league contest.
Coming up next, the Timberwolves battle the Lincoln Fighting Zebras (Lincoln, CA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, October 2. Woodcreek will attempt to advance on its 1-4 season record. The Fighting Zebras go into the bout with a 2-3 record after their 46-26 non-league loss to Nevada Union (Grass Valley, CA).
