California High School Football - Steele Canyon nips Santana
September 25, 2025: Santee, CA 92071 The crowd at Thursday's non-league contest between the Steele Canyon Cougars (Spring Valley, CA) and the host Santana Sultans (Santee, CA), witnessed Steele Canyon's football squad edge Santana by a tally of 6-0.
The Cougars (3-3) will now prepare for their contest against El Capitan (Lakeside, CA). The Vaqueros enter the non-league contest with a 5-1 record. In their last bout, El Capitan nudged West Hills (Santee, CA), 42-7, in a non-league bout.
The Sultans now own a 1-3 record. They play next when they host Southwest SD for a non-league bout on Thursday, October 2.
