September 25, 2025: South Deerfield, MA 01373 The Central Golden Eagles (Springfield, MA) volleyball held off the host Frontier Regional Red Hawks (South Deerfield, MA), 2-1 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Golden Eagles now possess a 2-0 record. They play next when they host West Springfield for a non-league bout on Wednesday, October 1. Central will clash with a Terriers team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to East Longmeadow (East Longmeadow, MA). The Terriers record now stands at 1-2.
With the loss, Frontier Regional falls to 5-3 on the year. The Red hawks travel to Agawam (Agawam, MA) to battle the Brownies in a non-league contest on Monday, September 29. The Brownies enter the contest with a record of 1-2. Agawam lost 3-0 in their recent non-league contest against Westfield (Westfield, MA)
