September 25, 2025: Portland, OR 97229 Franklin Quakers (Portland, OR) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Sunset Apollos (Portland, OR), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Franklin moves its record to 4-4 on the campaign. The Quakers host Ida B. Wells (Portland, OR) to confront the Guardians in a 6A Portland Interscholastic outing on Tuesday, September 30. The Guardians go into the outing with a record of 3-2. Ida B. Wells won 3-1 in their recent non-league outing against Southridge (Beaverton, OR)
Next up, the Apollos confront the Century Jaguars (Hillsboro, OR) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, September 30. Sunset will attempt to improve on its 2-4 season record. The Jaguars go into the outing with a 3-4 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Lakeridge (Lake Oswego, OR).
