The Brother Rice Crusaders football squad scored 42 points and limited the visiting St. Patrick Shamrocks to 13 in the Crusaders league triumph on Thursday.

The Crusaders now hold a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Chicago Mt. Carmel for a test on Friday, October 3. Brother Rice will meet a Caravan squad coming off a 35-16 non-league win over Simeon (Chicago, IL). The Caravan record now stands at 6-0.

With the defeat, St. Patrick drops to 3-2 on the campaign. The Shamrocks host Benet Academy (Lisle, IL) to face the Redwings in a non-league challenge on Monday, October 6. The Redwings go into the challenge with a record of 1-0. Benet Academy won 28-22 in their recent non-league challenge against Hillcrest (Country Club Hills, IL)
