September 25, 2025: Weeki Wachee, FL 34614 Hernando Leopards (Brooksville, FL) followers went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Weeki Wachee Hornets (Weeki Wachee, FL), 8-0 in a league battle.
With the win, Hernando advances its record to 1-0 on the season.
The Hornets now own a 0-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Central for a match on Thursday, October 2. Weeki Wachee will confront a Bears squad coming off a 46-6 non-league loss to Springstead (Spring Hill, FL). The Bears record now stands at 0-1.
