September 25, 2025: Hyattsville, MD 20782 DuVal Tigers (Lanham, MD) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer squad nudge the host Northwestern Wildcats (Hyattsville, MD), 2-1 in a league outing.
The Tigers (4-1) will now prepare for their outing against Bladensburg (Bladensburg, MD). The Mustangs go into the non-league outing with a 0-2 record. In their last outing, Bladensburg was edged by Old Mill (Millersville, MD), 4-2, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Wildcats confront the DeMatha Stags (Hyattsville, MD) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, October 4. Northwestern will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Stags go into the outing with a 0-2 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Georgetown Prep (North Bethesda, MD).
