Kentucky High School Soccer - Lexington Catholic nudged by Montgomery County
September 25, 2025: Mt. Sterling, KY 40353 Montgomery County Indians (Mt. Sterling, KY) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the visiting Lexington Catholic Knights (Lexington, KY), 1-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Montgomery County moves its record to 7-0 on the campaign. The Indians host North Laurel (London, KY) to clash with the Jaguars in a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 30. The Jaguars go into the outing with a record of 2-1.
The Knights now have a 0-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Madison Southern for a non-league test on Saturday, September 27.
