The Northern Guilford Nighthawks (Greensboro, NC) volleyball held off the visiting Asheboro Blue Comets (Asheboro, NC), 2-1 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Nighthawks now possess a 9-2 record. They play next when they travel to Northeast Guilford for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 30. Northern Guilford will clash with a Rams team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Southern Guilford (Greensboro, NC). The Rams record now stands at 2-4.
