In Thursday's non-league challenge, the visiting Lexington Christian Eagles volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Western Hills Wolverines.

The Eagles (19-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Model (Richmond, KY). The Patriots come into the non-league challenge with a 5-1 record. In their last challenge, Model beat Bath County (Owingsville, KY), 2-1, in a non-league test.

The Wolverines now sport a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Franklin County for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 30. Western Hills will face a Flyers squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Woodford County (Versailles, KY). The Flyers record now stands at 2-8.
