Ohio High School Soccer - Bishop Fenwick knocks off Newport Central Catholic
September 25, 2025: Franklin, OH 45005 In Thursday's non-league outing, the host Bishop Fenwick Falcons soccer squad scored a tight 3-0 triumph over the Newport Central Catholic Thoroughbreds.
With the triumph, Bishop Fenwick advances its record to 5-7 on the year. The Falcons host Carroll (Dayton, OH) to play the Patriots in a Greater Catholic Coed bout on Tuesday, September 30. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 10-1. Carroll won 2-1 in their recent non-league bout against Covington Catholic (Park Hills, KY)
With the loss, Newport Central Catholic moves to 4-9 on the year. The Thoroughbreds travel to Bishop Brossart (Alexandria, KY) to play the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 27. The Mustangs come into the game with a record of 9-6. Bishop Brossart won 3-1 in their recent non-league game against Villa Madonna (Covington, KY)
