Illinois High School Soccer - Illinois Lutheran toppled by Heritage Christian
September 25, 2025: Crete, IL 60417 The Heritage Christian Defenders smashed the host Illinois Lutheran Chargers soccer team by a tally of 7-2 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Defenders now possess a 4-1 record. They play next when they travel to DeMotte Christian for a non-league bout on Friday, September 26. Heritage Christian will play a Knights squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Morgan Township (Valparaiso, IN). The Knights record now stands at 5-6.
With the loss, Illinois Lutheran moves to 0-11 on the year. The Chargers host Beecher (Beecher, IL) to face the Bobcats in a River Valley game on Tuesday, September 30. The Bobcats come into the game with a record of 13-4. Beecher 2-2 in their recent non-league game against Bremen (Midlothian, IL)
