September 25, 2025: University Place, WA 98466 Curtis Vikings (University Place, WA) followers left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Tumwater Thunderbirds (Tumwater, WA), 3-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Curtis advances its record to 7-0 on the season. The Vikings host Lake Stevens (Lake Stevens, WA) to face the Vikings in a non-league test on Monday, September 29. The Vikings go into the test with a record of 9-1. Lake Stevens won 3-0 in their recent league test against Arlington (Arlington, WA)
The Thunderbirds now sport a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to WF West for a 2A Evergreen outing on Tuesday, September 30. Tumwater will play a Bearcats team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Tenino (Tenino, WA). The Bearcats record now stands at 3-4.
