The Emerald Vikings volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Laurens Raiders to 1 in the Vikings league triumph on Thursday.

The Vikings now have a 5-8 record. They play next when they host Wren for a AAAA Region 1 outing on Tuesday, September 30. Emerald will play a Hurricanes team coming off a 3-0 league win over Westside (Anderson, SC). The Hurricanes record now stands at 17-6.
