September 25, 2025: Los Angeles, CA 90044 Magnolia Science Academy 5 Lobos (Reseda, CA) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host SEED: LA Grizzlies (Los Angeles, CA), 3-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Magnolia Science Academy 5 improves its record to 1-7 on the season. The Lobos travel to Fulton (Van Nuys, CA) to encounter the Jaguars in a non-league test on Friday, September 26. The Jaguars go into the test with a record of 3-6. Fulton lost 3-0 in their recent league test against Vaughn (San Fernando, CA)
The Grizzlies now own a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they host Lifeline Charter for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, October 1. SEED: LA will meet a Eagles team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Southwestern Academy (San Marino, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 1-1.
