In Thursday's league challenge, the visiting Rural Retreat Indians volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Northwood Panthers.

The Indians (7-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Hendersonville (Hendersonville, TN). The Commandos come into the non-league challenge with a 15-15 record. In their last challenge, Hendersonville beat Beech (Hendersonville, TN), 3-0, in a league test.

The Panthers now sport a 1-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Clinton for a non-league test on Saturday, September 27. Northwood will face a Dragons squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Gibbs (Corryton, TN). The Dragons record now stands at 19-11.
