Morgan Township Cherokees (Valparaiso, IN) supporters were pleased Monday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Rensselaer Central Bombers (Rensselaer, IN), 5-2 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Cherokees confront the Marquette Catholic Blazers (Michigan City, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 29. Morgan Township will attempt to move on its 8-4 season record. The Blazers enter the challenge with a 1-11 record after their 8-0 non-league loss to Culver Community (Culver, IN).

The Bombers now possess a 4-8 record. They take the field next when they host Lafayette Central Catholic for a Hoosier challenge on Saturday, October 1. Rensselaer Central will confront a Knights team coming off a 4-1 league loss to Benton Central (Oxford, IN). The Knights record now stands at 3-13.
