In Monday's non-league match, the visiting Valley Rams football squad scored a close 25-20 victory over the Russell County Warriors.

In their next game, the Rams clash with the Smiths Station Panthers (Smiths, AL) in a non-league match, on Monday, October 3. Valley will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Panthers enter the match with a 0-1 record after their 46-20 non-league loss to Russell County (Seale, AL).
