North Carolina High School Soccer - Union overwhelmed by North Duplin
September 26, 2022: Rose Hill, NC 28458 The crowd at Monday's league test between the North Duplin Rebels (Calypso, NC) and the host Union Spartans (Rose Hill, NC), saw North Duplin's soccer squad triumph over Union by a count of 5-0.
The Rebels now hold a 8-3 record. They play next when they host Rosewood for a Carolina 1A test on Wednesday, September 28. North Duplin will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 14-2 league win over Neuse Charter (Smithfield, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 9-2.
With the loss, Union drops to 2-6 on the season. The Spartans travel to Hobbton (Newton Grove, NC) to battle the Wildcats in a Carolina 1A outing on Wednesday, September 28. The Wildcats go into the outing with a record of 7-4. Hobbton won 6-0 in their recent league outing against Lakewood (Roseboro, NC)
