September 26, 2022: Champaign, IL 61822 St. Thomas More Sabers (Champaign, IL) supporters were pleased Monday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting St. Teresa Bulldogs (Decatur, IL), 10-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Sabers confront the Monticello Sages (Monticello, IL) in a Illini Prairie challenge, on Tuesday, September 27. St. Thomas More will attempt to move on its 9-2 season record. The Sages enter the challenge with a 12-3 record after their 8-0 non-league win over Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin (Bismarck, IL).
The Bulldogs now possess a 2-13 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, September 28. St. Teresa will confront a Blue Devils team coming off a 8-3 league win over Watseka (Watseka, IL). The Blue Devils record now stands at 5-10.
