September 26, 2022: Seneca, IL 61360 In Monday's non-league battle, the host Seneca Fighting Irish volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the St. Bede Bruins.
The Fighting Irish (11-5) will now prepare for their battle against Putnam County (Granville, IL). The Panthers come into the Tri-County battle with a 7-7 record. In their last battle, Putnam County lost by Reed-Custer (Braidwood, IL), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Bruins clash with the Newman Central Catholic Comets (Sterling, IL) in a Three Rivers battle, on Tuesday, September 27. St. Bede will attempt to advance on its 7-12 season record. The Comets come into the battle with a 13-2 record after their 2-0 league win over Kewanee (Kewanee, IL).
