September 26, 2023: Norwood, NC 28128 In Tuesday's league contest, the South Stanly Rowdy Rebel Bulls (Norwood, NC) volleyball squad were winner over the visiting Albemarle Bulldogs (Albemarle, NC), by a margin of 3-0.
Next up, the Rowdy Rebel Bulls battle the Mount Pleasant Tigers (Mt. Pleasant, NC) in a Yadkin Valley 1A/2A contest, on Thursday, September 28. South Stanly will attempt to better on its 7-10 season record. The Tigers go into the contest with a 8-8 record after their 3-0 league loss to Gray Stone Day (Misenheimer, NC).
With the loss, Albemarle moves to 2-9 on the year. The Bulldogs host Union Academy (Monroe, NC) to battle the Cardinals in a Yadkin Valley 1A/2A contest on Thursday, September 28. The Cardinals go into the contest with a record of 4-10. Union Academy won 3-1 in their recent non-league contest against Piedmont (Monroe, NC)
