September 26, 2023: Blackduck, MN 56630 The Blackduck Drakes (Blackduck, MN) volleyball overcame the visiting Northland Eagles (Remer, MN), 3-0 in Tuesday's non-league outing.
With the win, Blackduck upgrades its record to 7-7 on the year. The Drakes host Cass Lake-Bena (Cass Lake, MN) to play the Panthers in a Northwoods outing on Thursday, September 28. The Panthers go into the outing with a record of 4-8. Cass Lake-Bena won 3-0 in their recent non-league outing against Fond du Lac Ojibwe Ogichida (Cloquet, MN)
The Eagles now own a 4-13 record. They play next when they travel to Bigfork for a non-league outing on Saturday, September 30. Northland will play a Huskies squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Cherry (Iron, MN). The Huskies record now stands at 6-7.
