The Bowie Jackrabbits topped the host Vernon Lions volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Tuesday's league test.

The Jackrabbits now have a 9-15 record. They put it on the line next when they host Iowa Park for a 3A Region I District 7 test on Friday, September 29. Bowie will confront a Hawks team coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Christ Academy (Wichita Falls, TX). The Hawks record now stands at 21-12.

The Lions (11-8) will now prepare for their match against Henrietta (Henrietta, TX). The Bearcats come into the 3A Region I District 7 match with a 19-6 record. In their last match, Henrietta achieved victory over City View (Wichita Falls, TX), 3-0, in a league match.
