Illinois High School Volleyball - Thornton nudged by Crete-Monee
September 26, 2023: Crete, IL 60417 The Thornton Wildcats volleyball team (Harvey, IL), was nudged 2-1 in Tuesday's league challenge with the host Crete-Monee Warriors (Crete, IL)
The Warriors (10-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Rich Township (Olympia Fields, IL). The Raptors enter the Southland challenge with a 7-16 record. In their last challenge, Rich Township was nudged by Kankakee (Kankakee, IL), 2-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Wildcats encounter the Bloom Blazing Trojan (Chicago Heights, IL) in a Southland challenge, on Wednesday, September 27. Thornton will attempt to move on its 3-8 season record. The Blazing Trojan enter the challenge with a 10-11 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Thornridge (Dolton, IL).
