In Tuesday's league contest, the Willow Spring Storm (Fuquay-Varina, NC) volleyball squad edged the host Garner Trojans (Garner, NC), by a margin of 3-2.

Next up, the Storm battle the South Garner Titans (Garner, NC) in a Greater Neuse River 4A contest, on Thursday, September 28. Willow Spring will attempt to better on its 5-11 season record. The Titans come into the contest with a 3-11 record after their 3-0 league loss to Clayton (Clayton, NC).
