Texas High School Volleyball - George West routed by Goliad
September 26, 2023: George West, TX 78022 The Goliad Tigers volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host George West Longhorns to 0 in the Tigers league victory on Tuesday.
The Tigers now have a 28-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Taft for a 3A Region IV District 29 game on Friday, September 29. Goliad will meet a Greyhounds team coming off a 3-0 league win over Odem (Odem, TX). The Greyhounds record now stands at 9-1.
The Longhorns (15-8) will now prepare for their game against Three Rivers (Three Rivers, TX). The Bulldogs enter the non-league game with a 13-16 record. In their last game, Three Rivers dropped by Falls City (Falls City, TX), 3-2, in a non-league game.
