The Tigers now sport a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Marion County for a 1A Region 5 outing on Friday, October 4. Brilliant will clash with a Red Raiders squad coming off a 22-18 league loss to Hubbertville (Fayette, AL). The Red Raiders record now stands at 2-3.
With the defeat, Phillips drops to 1-4 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Cherokee (Cherokee, AL) to clash with the Indians in a 1A Region 7 outing on Friday, October 4. The Indians come into the outing with a record of 4-2. Cherokee won 44-0 in their recent non-league outing against Belgreen (Russellville, AL)
