Merryville Panthers (Merryville, LA) fans went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Pickering Red Devils (Leesville, LA), 30-7 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Merryville improves its record to 3-1 on the season. The Panthers travel to Hemphill (Hemphill, TX) to play the Hornets in a non-league battle on Friday, October 4. The Hornets go into the battle with a record of 0-4. Hemphill lost 63-15 in their recent non-league battle against Westwood (Palestine, TX)
