California High School Flag Football - University City sneaks past Point Loma
September 26, 2024: San Diego, CA 92106 The University City Centurions flag football squad scored 13 points and limited the host Point Loma Pointers to 6 in the Centurions non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Centurions now hold a 4-5 record. They take the field next when they host Morse for a City - Eastern test on Monday, September 30. University City will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 40-0 league loss to Cathedral Catholic (San Diego, CA). The Tigers record now stands at 4-6.
With the defeat, Point Loma drops to 2-6 on the campaign. The Pointers travel to Scripps Ranch (San Diego, CA) to meet the Falcons in a City - Western test on Monday, September 30. The Falcons come into the test with a record of 5-7. Scripps Ranch won 26-7 in their recent non-league test against Ramona (Ramona, CA)
