Oregon High School Soccer - Barlow knocks off McDaniel
September 26, 2024: Gresham, OR 97080 Fans at Thursday's non-league battle between the Barlow Bruins (Gresham, OR) and the visiting McDaniel Mountain Lions (Portland, OR), saw Barlow's soccer squad prevail over McDaniel by a count of 4-0.
The Bruins (7-0) will now prepare for their battle against Lake Oswego (Lake Oswego, OR). The Lakers enter the non-league battle with a 2-3 record. In their last battle, Lake Oswego tipped Newberg (Newberg, OR), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Mountain Lions battle the Franklin Quakers (Portland, OR) in a 6A Portland Interscholastic battle, on Thursday, October 3. McDaniel will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Quakers enter the battle with a 1-8 record after their 4-0 league loss to Ida B. Wells (Portland, OR).
