In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host Triton Central Tigers volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Southwestern Spartans.

The Tigers (15-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Monrovia (Monrovia, IN). The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a 0-2 record.

Next, the Spartans meet the Greensburg Pirates (Greensburg, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 30. Southwestern will attempt to upgrade on its 0-7 season record. The Pirates enter the challenge with a 9-2 record after their 2-0 non-league win over South Decatur (Greensburg, IN).
