September 26, 2024: Cedar Grove, NJ 07009 Fans at Thursday's non-league battle between the Caldwell Chiefs (West Caldwell, NJ) and the host Cedar Grove Panthers (Cedar Grove, NJ), saw Caldwell's soccer squad hold off Cedar Grove by a count of 3-2.
The Chiefs (3-3) will now prepare for their battle against Madison (Madison, NJ). The Dodgers enter the non-league battle with a 8-0 record. In their last battle, Madison tipped Mountain Lakes (Mountain Lakes, NJ), 6-1, in a league battle.
Next up, the Panthers confront the Central Blue Devils (Newark, NJ) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, September 28. Cedar Grove will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Blue Devils enter the battle with a 3-3 record after their 4-0 non-league win over Tech (Newark, NJ).
